SDG announces two new 'director' promotions

Steer Davies Gleave (SDG) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Directors – Neil Chadwick and Phil Berczuk.

Neil Chadwick is a widely respected expert in transport strategy and policy having led a large number of national and regional studies and acted extensively as an advisor to senior leaders and politicians across the UK. As Director he will provide leadership in developing the firm’s transport strategy and policy offer, and help organisations across the UK respond to the challenging economic conditions.  He has over 20 years’ consultancy experience, is a recognized thought-leader, has published widely and has led high-profile commissions for central and local government.

Phil Berczuk is Head of Integrated Design. As Director he will be responsible for growing SDG’s transport design offer worldwide. He is at the forefront in the application of creative solutions within the transport sector and has delivered award winning transport communications, information, integrated urban design and wayfinding projects in the UK, mainland Europe, North and South America. Phil led our work with Transport for London on their recently published Interchange Best Practice Guidelines and is currently directing work with TransLink in Vancouver to design public transport facilities.

Fred Beltrandi, Business Development Director said: “I’m extremely pleased with the two new appointments to our Director team.”

‘Transport strategy and policy will always be a core service offer at Steer Davies Gleave. Neil Chadwick’s promotion to Director is an appropriate recognition of the status he commands within the firm and the UK’s transport community.

“Phil Berczuk is one of the UK’s leading transport designers, our design offer is currently in huge demand and under Phil Berczuk’s leadership as Director we will look to significantly grow the team and our offer worldwide.”
