The Toronto Observer reports that Steer Davies Gleave are helping the city to improve its wayfinding system ahead of the Pan Am Games which will see an increase in visitor levels.
Proposed changes to the current system include better visual branding of cultural areas and the use of mobile apps.Currently in the public information stage, the project is set to move into Phase 2 which will include design work before Phase 3 which will see the upgraded system rolled out across the city.
It's becoming increasingly popular for citys to invest in their wayfinding systems as the benefits it has for city dwellers and visitors alike becomes more evident.
